Set up a training course

Training provider accounts run courses. Each course is one class’s workspace: its students, images and tasks, open only on the course dates.

Courses appear in the top bar on training provider accounts. Ask hello@testinspect.com to turn your account into one; you get a student sign-in address such as clearshotdr.ai/student/yourcentre.

  1. Open Courses in the top bar.
  2. Give the course a name (for example “RT Level 2 — w/c 11 Jan”) and its first and last day, then press Create course.
  3. On the Students tab add the class and print their login cards (how).
  4. On the Images tab press Add DICOM images to give the class radiographs, or add training packs.
  5. Use Pre-course work, Settings (dates, AI for students, network lock) and Activity as you need them.

When students can sign in

Student logins only work from the first day to the end of the last day (UK time). Before that they see “Your course has not started yet”; afterwards “This course has finished”. With home learning on, they can also sign in for a set number of days before the course, for the pre-course work only.

Who sees which images

  • Images you add go to the whole class.
  • Click the line under an image to show it to chosen students only, or to make it pre-course work.
  • Images students upload themselves are private to that student and the instructors.
  • Students never see an instructor’s assessment result on an image, or a training pack answer key.

Everyone in your organisation with the owner, admin or radiographer role is an instructor and can manage every course. Students are free: they don’t use seats.
