- Open the course, then the Students tab.
- Type one student per line: Name, optionally followed by , username (and , email if you use home learning). Usernames are made from the name if you leave them out.
- Press Add and make logins. Passwords are generated for you — short and easy to type, with no 0/O or 1/l mix-ups.
- Press Print login cards. Cut along the dashed lines and hand them out.
Passwords are shown once. Clearshot DR keeps only a scrambled (hashed) copy, so it can’t show them again. Print the cards before you leave the page.
Lost card or forgotten password
Press New password next to the student. The old password stops working straight away (they are signed out everywhere) and the new one is added to the cards to print.
Removing a student
Remove stops the login at once. Any images that student uploaded stay in the course.
Usernames
Usernames are 3–32 lower-case letters, numbers, dots, dashes or underscores, and must be unique among your current students. Once a course has finished, its usernames can be used again.
