- Open Measure and the Wall tab.
- Choose Draw wall line and draw a line across the pipe wall, from outside to the bore.
- Clearshot finds the outer and inner edges at the steepest rising and falling gradients, in the style of EN 16407-1, and gives the wall thickness with an uncertainty.
- Enter SDD and SOD in mm to correct for magnification.
- If an edge is in the wrong place, use Nudge outer or Nudge inner, or reset. Band (px) sets how wide a strip is averaged along the line.
The wall result can also feed the thickness used for indication limits and for the ISO 17636-2 requirement.
