Record an assessment

Save your result for an image with the exact view on screen, so the processing used is documented.

  1. Set up the view you interpreted from: window, filters, colour, annotations and measurements.
  2. Open Assess (staff).
  3. Pick a result: Acceptable, Reject, Indication — see notes, Detected, Not detected, Inconclusive or For information, or type your own.
  4. Add Notes (what you see, where, why) and the IQI (for example 13D or W12) if wanted.
  5. Choose Save assessment.

Clearshot records the result with the exact view on screen: a description of the window and every filter setting, which processor was used, your measurements, and a snapshot image. ISO 17636-2 asks for image processing to be documented, and this does it automatically.

  • The thumbnail shows the result; unassessed images show Not assessed.
  • The snapshot and settings go into the PDF report.
  • Every assessment is written to the audit trail with who, when, the result and the processing.
